About Cleaning for a Reason
Supporting Cancer Patients with Free Home Cleaning
Cleaning for a Reason is a program by ISSA Charity, part of the Worldwide Cleaning Industry Association. As a nonprofit, we offer free home cleaning services to people facing cancer. Whether they are newly diagnosed, undergoing treatment, or in recovery, we help make life easier by taking care of their home cleaning needs.
Our trusted network of cleaning companies and volunteers work together to provide this support for cancer patients and their families. Since 2006, Cleaning for a Reason has:
- Helped over 46,000 patients
- Provided cleaning services worth more than $15.5 million
- Partnered with 1,200 cleaning companies
Since joining forces with Cleaning for a Reason, we’ve committed to offering our professional cleaning services to those battling cancer in our community. By alleviating the burden of household cleaning, we hope to provide a little peace of mind and more time for healing and spending precious moments with loved ones.

Women undergoing cancer treatment can apply directly through the Cleaning for a Reason website.

Once approved, they will be matched with a local cleaning service, like Fast Maid Service, to receive free home cleaning.

We coordinate directly with the recipients to schedule their cleanings, ensuring they receive top-quality service at no cost to them.
